INTERNSHIP · EINDHOVEN

Assignment

Our system consists of multiple separate devices being developed by our team in Eindhoven. A medical device is not simply a housing with electronics and software, it further requires clever packaging, good instructions on how to use it, and medical device labels that are informative and required for regulations. Such material will also have to be available in multiple languages, such as English or French. We have a very diverse and international team to help with this!

We are looking for an intern that can work directly inside the development team on these activities. You will be assisting the sub-team that is developing a wearable patient device, and the team developing the implantable pulse generator.

Your work will consist of these tasks:

- Work with medical device requirements
- Writing content for instruction manuals for the wearable patient device, and the patient’s implantable pulse generator.
- Helping on making illustrations (drawings) for the instruction manuals. Experience with digital design is strongly preferred for this, such as through Adobe Illustrator, Sketch or Adobe Photoshop.
- Design the labels to be placed on the exterior of the patient’s wearable device.
- Help in the design of medical device packaging, including what needs to be on the package.

What we will offer you

- You will be fully emerged in our product development team, with decades of experience in bringing high-tech medical devices to the market.
- A friendly and very motivated team aimed at making this revolutionary therapy a reality to patients worldwide!
- An environment in which you have a lot of freedom (start-up spirit) and at the same time as much personal support as you need.
- Learning about the requirements to medical product usability and design that you must comply to for CE-mark and FDA approval.
- We can help you out with housing.
- A notebook and other equipment / tools/ software you may require.
